Buying a home is a sound investment and we protect your purchase for years with one of Western Canada’s leading warranty administrators, National Home Warranty Group.
The 2-5-10 home warranty insurance is given to all new Essence homes built in BC, as required by the Homeowner Protection Act of BC. This plan is widely recognized as one of the most effective home warranty standards in Canada.
Every new B.C. Essence home is protected with:
- 12 months’ coverage for defects in material and labour for your unit
- 15 months’ coverage for defects in material and labour for the common property (Multi Family Only)
- 24 months’ coverage for defects in material and labour for major systems (heating, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- 5 years’ coverage on the building envelope, including coverage on unintended water penetration
- 10 years’ coverage on major structural items
